How far in advance should I schedule my appointment?

Three Cutters suggests to schedule your next appointment before you leave. After all, your favorite stylist is probably a few others’ favorite too! However, if you roll fast and loose just give us a call and we will do everything we can to fit you in. Please note, weekends and evenings are the first to go! Plan in advance if that is what is best for you.

Do you REALLY not accept gratuity?

Yes. Our mindset is to elevate the standard of the beauty industry. Just as you would not tip your dentist, lawyer, or doctor because they are highly trained, and make recommendations customized to your needs. We too consider our team to be the best professionals, our intention is to deliver an experience, where you will feel confident that we have designed the best look for you, and you will follow our recommendations to maintain that look in the timeline we discuss and with the products necessary to duplicate.

Where do I park?

We have ample street parking available at either location. Please be aware of the street sweeping schedule from spring-fall.

My bangs (neck hair, hairline) are bugging me. Can I pop in for a trim?

Yes! If you’re a current guest looking for our 10 minute touch up service, that is complimentary. However, we recommend you discuss with your stylist their preference for booking an appointment for this service in advance or calling the day of to see when they can accomadate you. We can trim your bangs, clean up your neck and hairline, or take out a little bit of weight in between cuts. Remember, this is not a full haircut– just an in between tune up to tide you over til your next appointment.

What is the difference between Balyage and Foil Highlights?

Balayage (pronounced bah-lee-AHGZE) is a technique to highlight your hair that is subtle, soft, and sun kissed. Foil highlights start from the root and go to the ends, while balayage allows the hair to be softer or more muted at the roots, and then gets progressively light as it travels through to the end. The end result of a foil highlight is more consistent and pattern-based, while a balayage will result in a look that is more free-hand and organic.

What is your adjustment policy?

If you are disastisfied with your service, please connect with us within 14 days of your service. We will do our best to accommodate you to find a solution. Our preference is for you to be scheduled with the stylist who originally performed your service to make any adjustments. If the original stylist is not available, we will do our best to schedule you with another stylist.
